Introduction: The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of virtual sensory rehabilitation (Tele rehabilitation) in the home environment on reducing stereotyped and impulsive behaviors of autistic children during the coronavirus pandemic. The research method for data collection was quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test design with control group. The statistical population included all families of children with autism at the Autism Center of Tehran on 2020. Out of the total population, 16 families with autistic children who were in home quarantine were selected as a sample and randomly assigned to the experimental (n = 8) and control (n = 8) groups. The Budfish (2000) scale was used to collect data. Analysis of covariance with application assumptions was used to analyze the data. The rehabilitation program of sensorimotor exercises was performed in 21 consecutive sessions in four months for the experimental group. The results showed that the tele rehabilitation program significantly improved the challenging behaviors of autistic children in the family environment at the level of P <0.01, due to the vulnerability of autistic children to the corona virus and the closure of rehabilitation centers and to prevent regression and exacerbation. Behaviors of autistic children and also due to the effectiveness of the tele rehabilitation program, the use of this program at home is recommended, of course, with all the points of professional rehabilitation.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the acceptance and commitment therapy for reducing depression, anxiety and stress in parents with autism spectrum children. This research was an experimental study with a pre-test, post-test and control group. The statistical population included all mothers with autistic children who referred to the Tehran April 2 Autism center in 2017-2018. Eighteen mothers with autistic children were selected as the sample and randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group. Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21(DASS-21) was used for collecting the data. The data were analyzed through MANCOVA and by following statistical assumptions required for data analysis. The therapeutic program was run in 12 successive sessions for two months, with each session lasting for two hours. The results showed that in the post-test, the scores of depression, anxiety, and stress reduced significantly for mothers in the experimental group compared to their counterparts in the control group. Based on the effectiveness of the Acceptance and commitment therapy for the experimental group (i.e., mothers with Autistic Children in the experimental group, p < 0.001), this method can be used as a psychological treatment intervention along with other intervention methods.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the interventional program of cognitive-behavioral games on social and emotional skills in children with high-performance autism disorders in Tehran. The research method was a semi-experimental, pre-test, post-test with control group. The statistical population included all children with high-performance autism disorders in the year 1396-97 in Tehran. A total of 10 boys aged 5 to 15 years with high-performance autism disorders were selected by purposeful sampling and randomly placed in experimental and control groups. The profile of social autism skills (Blinney, Rezaie, 1391) and emotional checklist (self-made) were used to collect data. An interventional program of cognitive-behavioral games was conducted in 10 sessions, 60 minute for the experimental group. The results of this study showed that interventional program of cognitive-behavioral games significantly (p< 0/05), improved social and emotional skills. Given the effectiveness of the intervention program cognitive-behavioral games are recommended to be used continuously in educational and rehabilitation program for educational and rehabilitation centers.
